I, LaDonna, have been trying to blog consistently for the past several years and I suckered my close friend, Malonda, who happens to be a teacher also, into the process with me. I have always had my mind set on innovation and technology in the classroom, so when my husband received orders for Colorado Springs, CO and after a rocking start, I landing my dream position. I am teacher 7th grade math in a 1:1 iPad environment. I couldn't ask for anything more but I also landed on an amazing team with a very supportive staff. As a teacher, that makes going to work each day that much better.

I was talked into blogging by my good friend and fellow teacher LaDonna. Over the past several years I have been teaching and finding myself (I guess, lol). I had my mindset on saving the world one class at a time. I just didn't know how I was going to do it. Through the years I have learned that with dedication, time, and the help of others my dreams can become a reality. As a teacher and person I have touched the lives of students, parents, and co-workers. I say "person" because I want people to realize that teachers are people too. We have lives, hobbies, families, and a million other things outside of being a teacher.
